Our Vision
Talking Couch Therapy was born out of a personal need for connection.
While seeking therapy for herself during her doctoral training in the UK, Garima struggled to find a registered psychologist who was fluent in Hindi and truly understood her cultural roots. She knew that therapy is most effective when you can express yourself in the language you most often think and feel in. She also recognised the unique mental health challenges faced by individuals who have their home country. This sparked her mission to create a space where language and culture are never barriers to healing. She envisioned to build a foundation of same-language and non-English speaking therapy services tailored to individual needs for people, especially those struggling to navigate life outside of their home country.

Through a personalised and culturally sensitive approach, therapy at Talking Couch Therapy aims to provide mental health support to individuals, both locally and internationally, in a language they understand, fostering a deeper sense of connection and healing.
